IGF-1 LR3 is a synthetic long-acting analogue of IGF-1. Human Growth Hormone (HGH) is converted to IGF-1 in the liver and is responsible for many of the positive effects of GH therapy. Unfortunately, IGF-1 is cleared rapidly after conversion limiting the efficacy of direct IGF-1 therapy.
